Our Gen-AI Pledge

We will never send you something generated by an LLM while pretending it was written by a human. Nor will we use AI to summarize the things you send us without reading them ourselves. Gen AI is amazing technology, and has many practical uses that we're excited about, but communication is not one of them. We get it. Writing is hard, but the deliberation is the entire point. When you receive something from us, whether it's a thank you text or a system architecture proposal, it's not just syntactically correct words on a page. We do our best to listen, ask questions, understand, and then make the effort to respond thoughtfully.

Mistakes, typos, misspellings—even the occasional em-dash. It's 100% written by humans, for humans.
